Bio: Asamiya Asami is the daughter of a yakuza, in particular the leader of the Himawari(sunflower) division the Hana-gumi. However, her father died of an illness, passing the torch to her with the words "Whatever happens, smile smile smile." From that day onwards, she leads the himawari division of H-G, eventually gaining a nickname: "The Smiling Riot".

However, she soon got bored with the H-G, and decided that the path of a yakuza wasn't quite fun for her. Sure she liked breaking bones, but she'd rather do something else. And then she met a boy who made toys...

She's also often seen with Itami Jiko and Yatsuka Aoki, usually annoying them just for lolz.

After a lot of stuff happened, she ended up opening a small shop which sold flowers, candy and toys. She hasn't thought of a name for it yet though, so people just refer to is as "Asamiya-ya". Leaving the H-G has brought some unwanted trouble, though. Namely people who want revenge or people who see her a traitor.

Personality: She is very, very, VERY Happy-go-lucky AND hyper-active. Absolutely nothing seems to be able to wipe that smile off her face, and almost nothing can keep her sitting still. However, she has gained the respect of her subordinates, and she treats them as friends rather than subordinates. As such, she is able to lead them very well. If there's a certain rebel in the group, however, she'll smile....and beat him/her up. Innocently viscious would be how I describe her.

Fighting style: Asami uses 4 jutte in battle, usually with 2 in hand. The 3rd and 4th jutte is only used as a spare most of the time, though she might pull it out in certain other scenarios. As a jutte-user, she is an expert in close-quarters combat. As for her style, it's aggressively playful. Yes, playful. You read this right, PLAYFUL. But within is nonsensical style lies a skill of a pro: she strikes the weakest and most unguarded areas at every single opportune moment. Plenty of times, the opponent is hit in an area they didn't even know was hittable.
